About

I'm Jason. Founder and process thinker from Berlin. I build software and think too loudly about digitalization. This is where I write down what's on my mind.

What I Do

I run TanzSuite — a dance school at Strausberger Platz with a panoramic view of Berlin — and PlaceOne, an event venue with a bar. Both were built by my mother, an East German entrepreneur with a refugee background. I took them over and keep building on her work. On the side, I'm creating Servicium — an agent-native CRM for German SMBs.

What I Believe

Humans are Homo Faber — makers, not rational utility maximizers. Most economists forget that. And German SMBs have a unique opportunity: they can skip an entire software generation. Leapfrogging — instead of implementing Salesforce first and then switching to AI, start directly with agent-native tools. This isn't utopia, it's pragmatism.

Projects

Background

Grew up in 90s Berlin. Music high school, then led the tech club — my entry into tech came through stage equipment and DJ gear. Bachelor's in Public Administration (focus: digitalization), internships at Fraunhofer Fokus and ÖFIT. Master's in Governance with a thesis on DAOs — conclusion: complex, but instructive. At 17, founded a techno collective, ran my own label, organized a festival in Brandenburg. That's where the Tangent App came from. I'm not a traditional developer. I understand processes, see patterns between worlds (public admin ↔ startup, high culture ↔ subculture), and use AI to build solutions.
